All of us are guilty of occasional splurges especially during vacation time or festive season. When you look at all the fanciful decorations and merchandising display, it is hard to say no to that gorgeous dress or new digital gadget you have been longing for. It happens.

It is no wonder that more and more people are facing the challenge of paying off their credit card debts. My buddy has been working hard to pay off credit card debts since last year and I am so happy for her that she’s bringing her credit lower each month. While credit card debts may not be new to most working class individuals, you will be surprised to know that the jobless ones are also facing big credit card debts too. To deal with this, there are necessary steps if you are serious about paying off credit card debts. May I suggest that you should put your credit card away as it is far too convenient to pull it out when you are out there shopping or dining. We tend to forget how much debts we have and handing your credit card out for a swipe is as easy as 1-2-3. Secondly, don’t buy things you don’t need and stop telling yourself that you can pay it off with your next pay check. The minute you start thinking about that, your credit card debts will accumulate and pile up without you knowing.

While I’m not an expert in helping you pay off credit card debts, I hope that the above simple steps can help you get started in reducing your debts and hopefully, be debt free soon.
