time to consider a credit card debt repayment
Sometimes I wonder if credit card debt stories are all real until I hear that it’s happening to people I personally know. Few hours ago, while chatting with a blogging buddy about a mutual friend, she spilled the beans about this lady (let’s call her lady techie), a work-at-home mom of two had more than $10K of credit card debts. To make things worse, her husband is now jobless and their MLM company has not been doing well. It looks like she needs a Credit Report Repair advice.
I used to think that lady techie is financially sound as she is always bragging about her latest digital gadgets. If you want to know details of the latest and coolest or most high tech cell phone or digital gadget, she would be the best person to share her tips. Typically, you tend to think that someone who spends thousands of dollars of digital gadgets has no qualms about spending money. But this is not true in the case of lady techie. She, like many, is stuck with huge credit card debts due to overspending and poor management of money. In fact, I’m beginning to think that credit card spending can become an addiction and obsession, even when you are not earning a stable income. To make things worse, people like her can have more than 10 credit cards in their wallets so imagine you owe $2000 on one card, that means you are owing $20K on 10! Wow, that’s alot of debts to pay!
If I were her, I would stop ditch these credit cards for now and consider a debt consolidation plan. Perhaps, she would need to seek credit card debt advice from a qualified financial consultant who can help her with to establish a Credit Report Repair. She needs to think about her two children who would eventually need her financial support in their education expenses. Ending a credit card addiction may be a tough one but with determination and forward thinking, this is a task that is bound for success.
